Paul Verkuil, W&M Class of 1961, President, and Honorary Alumnus of 2017

The Honorable Paul Verkuil arrived at William & Mary in 1957. During his time as a student, he was active in the ROTC and Pi Lamba Phi.

Mallory Walker, W&M Class of 2017

Mallory Walker arrived at William & Mary in 2014. During her time at William & Mary, she served as an Orientation Aide, a W&M tour guide, and was a member of Delta Gamma sorority. Additionally, she wrote a column, “Behind Closed Doors”, for the Flat Hat, and gained work experience through Phone-a-thon and the Reeder Media Center.

Cam Walker, W&M Class of 1964

Cam Walker arrived at William & Mary in 1960. During her time as a student, she participated in the Women’s Dorm Association, Kappa Alpha Theta, the Mermettes, and Colonial Echo. She was also named to Mortar Board and Phi Beta Kappa.

Hays Thomas Watkins, Jr., BOV Member, Rector, and W&M Honorary Alumnus 1982

Hays Thomas Watkins, II. served as a member of the Board of Visitors from 1984 to 1993 and served as Rector from 1987 to 1993. He is an Honorary Alumnus of the William & Mary Class of 1982.

Brooke Weinmann, W&M Class of 1979

Brooke Weinmann arrived at William & Mary in 1975. During her time at William & Mary, she participated in Kappa Kappa Gamma, the Honor Council, the Washington Program, and Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.

Millie West, Trailblazer for Women's Athletics

Millie West arrived at William & Mary in 1959, not as a student but as an instructor, professor, coach, and Women’s Athletic Director. In 2017, she was awarded a degree of Doctor of Human Letters from the university.

Virginia "Dinny" Wetter, W&M Class of 1940

Virginia Wetter arrived at William & Mary in 1936. During her time at William & Mary, she participated in Chi Omega, French Club, German Club, the Literary Society, and served as an Orientation Aide.

Hulon Willis, Jr., W&M Class of 1977

Hulon Willis, Jr. arrived at William & Mary in 1973, a little of two decades after his father, Hulon Willis, Sr. became the first African American student to attend the College. During his time at William & Mary, Willis, Jr. participated in the Student Association, the Baptist Student Union, the Judo & Karate Club, and the Black Students Organization. He was also a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon.
